Ready or not…
I am thrilled to share some big news with our community: my new book, More Than We Imagined, will be released in December 2025.
This project has been years in the making, shaped by the countless stories, conversations, breakthroughs, and moments of exhaustion I’ve witnessed across the early childhood and human-services fields. It reflects what so many of us know to be true: the work is hard, the stakes are high, and yet we continue to show up with a commitment that stretches far beyond job descriptions.
This book is my love letter to those who care for, teach, lead, coach, and support others. Whether you’re an educator, a social worker, a program director, a family child care provider, or a community partner. It’s built on the belief that even in the midst of stress, complexity, and change, there are strengths worth noticing and possibilities worth growing.
At the heart of this work is the lens of Appreciative Inquiry and the Triple R Framework™ Relevance, Relationships, and Reflection. Throughout the book, I explore how these practices help us navigate challenges with more intention, restore our sense of meaning, and reconnect with the parts of our work that matter most.
You’ll find stories, practical tools you can use immediately, and gentle reminders that growth doesn’t have to begin with sweeping change. Often, it starts with noticing the smallest flickers of what’s already working.
